Even though there are German cockroaches, Asian cockroaches, and even Australian cockroaches, the Periplaneta americana, is all American. Its common name is American cockroach, and they have countless addresses right here in Tulsa.

Cockroaches are like most bugs. They are just looking for a good meal. Well, that may not be completely accurate. Cockroaches are looking for any meal. They will eat anything organic, and we don’t mean organic in the healthy way. They will eat sewage and enjoy it as much as champagne with strawberries. After they eat something rotting and disgusting they don’t wash their hands or feet either; they will walk all over your kitchen counter tops, inside your pantry, and even over those bananas that are ripening on a little hanger, leaving invisible little poop prints everywhere they go.

Even if you hide all your food and clean up all the crumbs, American cockroaches can be patient. They can live without food for over 45 days. So when you have been lulled into complacency; after you have a late-night party and leave things out till morning they will come out of hiding and clean up for you.

The American cockroach is like any other American. They have learned to survive and overcome any challenge to its right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of poop or anything else you have to eat. They easily resist home remedies to get rid of them. You can have your house back only after you pry it out of their cold dead hands. That’s where we come in.
